FILE INFO
CaptionAfter Indra defeated Vritrasura in battle, all of the demigods were happy. However, Indra lamented because he knew that he had killed a great devotee and brahmana. Vritrasura outwardly appeared to be a demon and was fighting on the side of the demons, but inwardly he was a great devotee of the Supreme Lord and a brahmana.
-Taken from Srila Prabhupada Purport, Srimad Bhagavatam 6.13.3
