FILE INFO | Caption | When Dvivida gorilla heard that Krishna had killed Bhaumasura, he planned to create mischief throughout the country to avenge his friend's death. Dvivida set fires in the villages and in homes while the men were busy farming. He was so powerful that he would sometimes create a disturbance in the sea that would flood the neighboring cities and villages. While creating such disturbances, he came to Lord Balarama dancing and singing with many beautiful girls. Dvivida disrespected the girls by showing them the lower part of his body. Seeing this and hearing of the many disturbances Dvivida had already caused around the country, Balarama became very angry and decided to kill him. Immediately He took His club in His hands. Dvivida uprooted a big oak tree and they began to fight. -Summarized from Krishna Book, Chapter 67
